A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE JESUIT ORDER

     Today's Protestant churches are strangely silent on Christ’s number one enemy. To acknowledge the sins of Rome that prophecy declares will crush them to smithereens, is to acknowledge the sins of Protestantism. This they will never do, declares Bible prophecy (Rev.13:11-18).

     When the Reformation began to free the captives from papal tyranny and superstition, a man named Ignatius Loyola came to the pope with an offer that the pope greatly delighted to hear. He said, in essence, "Let the Augustinians continue to provide monasteries of retreat for contemplative minds; let the Benedictines give themselves up to the field of literary endeavor; let the Dominicans retain their responsibility for maintaining the Inquisition. But we, the Jesuits, will capture the colleges and the universities. We will gain control of instruction in law, medicine, science, education, and so weed out from all books of instruction, anything injurious to Roman Catholicism. We will mould the thoughts and ideas of the youth. We will enroll ourselves as Protestant preachers and college professors in the different Protestant faiths. Sooner or later, we will undermine the authority of the Greek New Testament of Erasmus, and also of those Old Testament productions, which have dared to raise their heads against the Old Testament of Jerome’s Vulgate and against tradition. And thus will we undermine the Protestant Reformation, and bring the world back to your holiness the pope."

     Thus began an institution that continues with us today. During their history, there were so many inhumane atrocities carried out against men that the Jesuits were kicked out of every country they ever entered from Europe to Asia. This unruly lot tainted the reputation of the Vatican to such an extent that the pope himself disbanded them.

     But then came the United States of America, uplifting liberty of conscience, of which Rome to this day covertly works to oppose as the Vatican’s highly venerated Pope Pius IX wrote in his Encyclical Letter of August 15, 1854: "The absurd and erroneous doctrines or ravings in defense of liberty of conscience is a most pestilential error: a pest above all others most to be dreaded in a state." This is the same pope who condemned Abraham Lincoln but gave his blessing to the Confederate President Jefferson Davis. It was at the dawn of America’s independence that the Jesuit Order was restored to active service by the pope. At this point in history, Thomas Jefferson wrote to John Adams, "Like you I fear the resurrection of the Jesuits."

     Recorded in Congress is the Jesuit oath of induction. Here are the closing words of the Jesuit oath:

"…I do further promise and declare, that I will, when opportunity presents, make and wage relentless war, secretly or openly, against all heretics, Protestants and Liberals, as I am directed to extirpate and exterminate them from the face of the whole earth, and that I will spare neither sex, age nor condition, and that I will hang, waste, boil, flay, strangle and bury alive these infamous heretics; rip up the stomachs and wombs of their women and crush their infants’ heads against the wall, in order to annihilate forever their execrable race. That when the same cannot be done openly, I will secretly use the poison cup, the strangulation cord, the steel of the poniard, or the leaden bullet, regardless of the honor, rank, dignity or authority of the person or persons whatsoever may be their condition in life, either public or private, as I at any time may be directed so to do by any agent of the Pope or superior of the Brotherhood of the Holy Faith of the Society of Jesus."—House bill 1523, Contested election case of Eugene C.      During this time a man who was scheduled to speak before congress on the covert activities of the Jesuit Order here in America was murdered in Texas while traveling to Washington D.C. to give his testimony.

     To illustrate how deception and murder has been tucked away, sheltered from public knowledge, in the 19th century, a devout Christian and ex-Catholic priest, Father Charles Chiniquy, wrote a book, Fifty Years in the Church of Rome. In this book he chronicled his interviews with America’s president, Abraham Lincoln. Many private conversations with Abraham Lincoln were preserved by Charles Chiniquy in his book revealing Lincoln’s knowledge of Rome’s involvement in the Civil war as well as his foreknowledge concerning his death. Recorded for you below, from pages 300-303, are the sobering words of Abraham Lincoln recorded by Charles Chiniquy.

"Two cankers are biting the very entrails of the United States today: the Romish and the Mormon priests. Both are equally at work to form a people of the most abject, ignorant and fanatical slaves, who will recognize no authority but their supreme pontiffs. Both are aiming at the destruction of our schools, to raise themselves upon our ruins. Both shelter themselves under our grand and holy principles of liberty of conscience, to destroy that very liberty of conscience, and bind the world under their heavy and ignominious yoke.
"The Mormon and the Jesuit priests are equally the uncompromising enemies of our Constitution and our laws; but the more dangerous of the
two is the Jesuit—the Romish priest, for he knows better how to conceal his hatred under the mask of friendship and public good; he is better trained to commit the most cruel and diabolical deeds for the glory of God.
"Till lately, I was in favor of the unlimited liberty of conscience as our Constitution gives it to the Roman Catholics. But now, it seems to me that, sooner or later, the people will be forced to put a restriction to that clause towards the papists. Is it not an act of folly to give absolute liberty of conscience to a set of men who are publicly sworn to cut our throats the very day they have the opportunity? Is it right to give the privilege of citizenship to men who are sworn and public enemies of our constitution, our laws, our liberties, and our lives?
"The very moment that popery assumed the right of life and death on a citizen of France, Spain, Germany, England, or the United States, it assumed to be the power, the government of France, Spain, England, Germany, and the United States. Those States then committed a suicidal act by allowing popery to put a foot on their territory with the privilege of citizenship. The power of life and death is the supreme power, and two supreme powers cannot exist on the same territory without anarchy, riots, bloodshed, and civil wars without end. When popery will give up the power of life and death, which it proclaims as its own divine power in all its theological books and canon laws, then, and then alone, it can be tolerated and can receive the privileges of citizenship in a free country.
"Is it not an absurdity to give to a man a thing which he has sworn to hate, curse, and destroy? And does not the Catholic Church of Rome hate, curse, and destroy liberty of conscience whenever she can do it safely? I am for liberty of conscience in its noblest, broadest, highest sense. But I cannot give liberty of conscience to the pope and to his followers, the papists, so long as they tell me, through all their councils, theologians, and canon laws, that their conscience orders them to burn my wife, strangle my children, and cut my throat when they find their opportunity! This does not seem to be understood by the people today. But sooner or later, the light of common sense will make it clear to every one that no liberty of conscience can be granted to men who are sworn to obey a pope, who pretends to have the right to put to death those who differ from him in religion.
"You are not the first to warn me against the dangers of assassination. My ambassadors in Italy, France, and England, as well as Professor Morse [founder of the Morse Code], have many times warned me against the plots of the murderers, which they have detected in those different countries. But I see no other safeguard against those murderers but to be always ready to die, as Christ advises it. As we must all die sooner or later, it makes very little difference to me whether I die from a dagger plunged through my heart or from an inflammation of the lungs.
"Let me tell you I have lately read a passage in the Old Testament, which had made a profound, and, I hope, a salutary impression on me. Here is that passage."
The president took his Bible, opened it at the third chapter of Deuteronomy, and read from the 22nd to the 28th verse:
"Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your GOD He shall fight your you. And I besought the LORD at that time, saying, O LORD GOD, Thou hast begun to shew Thy servant Thy greatness and Thy mighty hand; for what GOD is there, in heaven or in earth, that can do according to Thy words, and according to Thy might! I pray Thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon. But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee: speak no more unto me of this matter. Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and westward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan."
After the President had read these words with great solemnity, he added: "My dear Father Chiniquy, let me tell you that I have read these strange and beautiful verses several times these last five or six weeks. The more I read them, the more it seems to me that GOD has written them for me as well as Moses. Has He not taken me from my poor log cabin by the hand, as He did Moses in the reeds of the Nile, to put me at the head of the greatest and most blessed of modern nations, just as He put that prophet at the head of the most blessed nation of ancient times? Has not GOD granted me a privilege, which was not granted to any living man, when I broke the fetters of 4,000,000 of men and made them free? Has not our GOD given me the most glorious victories over our enemies? Are not the armies of the Confederacy so reduced to a handful of men when compared to what they were two years ago, that the day is fast approaching when they will have to surrender?
"Now, I see the end of this terrible conflict, with the same joy of Moses at the end of his forty years in the wilderness. I pray GOD to grant me to see the days of peace, and untold prosperity, which will follow this cruel war, as Moses asked GOD to see the other side of Jordan and enter the Promised land. But do you know that I hear in my soul, as the voice of GOD, giving me the rebuke, which was given to Moses?
"Yes, every time that my soul goes to GOD to ask the favor of seeing the other side of Jordan, and eating the fruits of that peace, after which I am longing with such an unspeakable desire, do you know that there is a still, but solemn voice, which tells me that I will see those things only from a long distance, and that I will be among the dead, when the nation which GOD granted me to lead through those awful trials, will cross the Jordan, and dwell in that Land of Promise, where peace, industry, happiness, and liberty, will make everyone happy; and why so? Because He has already given me favors, which He never gave, I dare say, to any man, in these latter days.
"Why did GOD Almighty refuse to Moses the favor of crossing the Jordan, and entering the Promised Land? It was on account of this own nation’s sin! That law of divine retribution and justice, by which one must suffer for another is surely a terrible mystery. But it is a fact, which no man who has any intelligence and knowledge can deny. Moses, who knew that law, though he probably did not understand it better than we do, calmly says to his people, ‘GOD was wroth with me for your sakes.’
"But though we do not understand that mysterious and terrible law, we find it written in letters of tears and blood wherever we go. We do not read a single page of history, without finding undeniable traces of its existence.
"So many plots have already been made against my life, that it is a real miracle that they have all failed, when we consider that the great majority of them were in the hands of the skillful Roman Catholic murderers, evidently trained by Jesuits. But can we expect that GOD will make a perpetual miracle to save my life? I believe not. The Jesuits are so expert in those deeds of blood that Henry IV said that it was impossible to escape them, and he became their victim, though he did all that could be done to protect himself. My escape from their hands, since the letter of the pope to Jeff Davis has sharpened a million daggers to pierce my breast, would be more than a miracle.
"But just as the LORD heard no murmur from the lips of Moses when He told him that he had to die, before crossing the Jordan, for the sins of his people; so I hope and pray that He will hear no murmur from me when I fall for my nation’s sake.
"The only two favors I ask of the LORD are, first, that I may die for the sacred cause in which I am engaged, and when I am the standard bearer of the rights and liberties of my country.
"The second favor I ask of GOD is, that my dear son, Robert, when I am gone, will be one of those who lift up that flag of liberty which will cover my tomb, and carry it with honor and fidelity, to the end of his life, as his father did, surrounded by the millions who will be called with him to fight and die for the defense and honor of our country."
Never had I heard such sublime words. Never had I seen a human face so solemn and so prophet-like as the face of the president, when uttering these things. I was beside myself. Bathed in tears, I tried to say something, but I could not utter a word.
I knew the hour to leave had come. I asked from the president permission to fall on my knees, and pray with him that his life might be spared; and he knelt with me. But I prayed more with tears and sobs, than with words.
Then I pressed his hand on my lips and bathed it with my tears, and with a heart filled with an unspeakable desolation, I bade him adieu! It was for the last time! The hour was fast approaching when he was to fall by the hands of a Jesuit assassin, for his nation’s sake."

     The records of the court proceedings on the assassination of Lincoln prove he was murdered by Roman Catholic conspirators, four of whom were hanged for the crime in July, 1865. John Surrat, one of the masterminds of the plot, escaped from the Ford Theatre with the hit man, John Wilkes Booth, on the night of April 14, 1865. John Surrat was tracked by the State Department to Canada, where he was sheltered by Catholic priests; and from Canada to London, where he was sheltered by priests in a Catholic rectory; and from London to Rome. When finally caught, he was found in the Pope’s private army, from whence he was brought back to the United States and hanged for his crime.

     Throughout the history of the Reformation compelling stories of tragedy after tragedy mark the path of the Jesuit Order of the Roman Catholic Church. Even the great holiday of England, Guy Fawkes Day, tells the story of the Jesuit plot in the year 1605 to kill England’s King James I by blowing up the Parliament building with King James and his family attending by placing an enormous quantity of gunpowder in an adjacent building. But there were devoutly decent Catholics who were loyal to the king, and they brought him word of the threat against his life, and the plot was foiled. The mastermind of the plot was discovered to be the leading Jesuit priest of London, Henry Garnet. The Jesuits covered their guilt by coloring Garnet's life as one of innocence and political ineptitude. This is how today's historians describe the man. What a lie that is! Protestant England was Romes greatest enemy! Of course Rome would send their greatest genius to covertly work to destroy the reformation in England.

     Among the last voices of pure Protestant blood, the 19th century author and mainstay for the Judean model of Christianity, E.G. White summarized the character of these fiendish charlatans:

"Throughout Christendom, Protestantism was menaced by formidable foes. The first triumphs of the Reformation past, Rome summoned new forces, hoping to accomplish its destruction. At this time the order of the Jesuits was created, the most cruel, unscrupulous, and powerful of all the champions of popery. Cut off from earthly ties and human interests, dead to the claims of natural affection, reason and conscience wholly silenced, they knew no rule, no tie, but that of their order, and no duty but to extend its power. The gospel of Christ had enabled its adherents to meet danger and endure suffering, undismayed by cold, hunger, toil, and poverty, to uphold the banner of truth in face of the rack, the dungeon, and the stake. To combat these forces, Jesuitism inspired its followers with a fanaticism that enabled them to endure like dangers, and to oppose to the power of truth all the weapons of deception. There was no crime too great for them to commit, no deception too base for them to practice, no disguise too difficult for them to assume. Vowed to perpetual poverty and humility, it was their studied aim to secure wealth and power, to be devoted to the overthrow of Protestantism, and the re-establishment of the papal supremacy.
"When appearing as members of their order, they wore a garb of sanctity, visiting prisons and hospitals, ministering to the sick and the poor, professing to have renounced the world, and bearing the sacred name of Jesus, who went about doing good. But under this blameless exterior the most criminal and deadly purposes were often concealed. It was a fundamental principle of the order that the end justifies the means. By this code, lying, theft, perjury, assassination, were not only pardonable but commendable, when they served the interests of the church. Under various disguises the Jesuits worked their way into offices of state, climbing up to be the counselors of kings, and shaping the policy of nations. They became servants to act as spies upon their masters. They established colleges for the sons of princes and nobles, and schools for the common people; and the children of Protestant parents were drawn into an observance of popish rites. All the outward pomp and display of the Romish worship was brought to bear to confuse the mind and dazzle and captivate the imagination, and thus the liberty for which the fathers had toiled and bled was betrayed by the sons. The Jesuits rapidly spread themselves over Europe, and wherever they went, there followed a revival of popery."—E.G. White, The Great Controversy Between Christ And Satan, pages 234,235.

     The Jesuit influence is readily seen today. President Clinton named the Jesuit, Quigley, as his mentor. This is just one example of their secular influence at the highest level of America’s leadership. Before him, President Ronald Reagan's personal staff were virtually all Jesuits. But today, there is an ever-growing religious influence as well; but on this front the Jesuits identities are being withheld from public knowledge. One obvious example: on the TV show, International Intelligence Briefing, nationally broadcast on TBN Christian television, the world famous Evangelical author, Hal Lindsey (author of The Late Great Planet Earth) blatantly quoted the Vatican version of the Ten Commandments. He actually said how kids today are violating the 4th Commandment by dishonoring their parents. But that sacred commandment, "Honour thy father and thy mother…" is the 5th Commandment, not the 4th (Ex.20:12). The 4th is "Remember…the seventh-day…the Sabbath of the LORD thy GOD" (Ex.20:8-11). Never forget, the Vatican removed the 2nd Commandment of GOD, making the 3rd the 2nd, the 4th the 3rd, and so on. They divided the 10th into two to cloak their slander of GOD'S Holy Law as prophecy foretold nearly 2500 years ago: "he shall think to change times and laws." Dan.7:25.

     Hal Lindsey is supposed to be a Protestant. Why is he promoting Vatican theology? There’s no getting away from it: He's either a Jesuit or the servant of Jesuits. But above all he is a puppet for Satan who is consolidating his forces for the last great battle over his supremacy of this world called “Armageddon.” Hal Lindsey serves the Biblical Antichrist, shepherding tens of thousands of Bible illiterate Christians to believe the Vatican doctrines of "the future Antichrist" and "the seven-year tribulation," which are being pawned off today as Protestant doctrine. This theology first appeared way back in the year 1575, being conceived by the Jesuit, Francisco Ribera. He invented this "Future Antichrist/Seven-year Tribulation" doctrine to counter the Reformers unanimous view that the pope of Rome is the great Antichrist of the end times.

     Jesus admonished, "anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see." Rev.3:18. Unless Christians devote prayer and study to Scripture's boundaries of salvation, and determine to stay thereon, they will be swept away with tide leading them out to sea, only to perish: "they shall fall among them that fall." Jer.6:15.
