THE OBVIOUS LESSONS OF HISTORY
TEACH THE OBVIOUS FUTURE FOR MAN

     “Divide and conquer” is the age-old tactic for military success. This defense-breaching principle applies to the ruin of friendships, marriages and nations. And when a nation becomes divided, politicians and philosophers alike have encouraged national unity if a nation is to survive. Even the New Testament Savior of the human race, Jesus Christ acknowledged the value of unity when He said, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation.”

     America today is divided against itself. And the battleground is over two opposing views: conservative and liberal, religious and secular; and each desires the throne of absolute control. Their bitter struggle in both the political and judicial arenas, with each striving to gain the victory, leaves the average American (the Moderate) caught in the crossfire. We, as a nation, are facing an increasingly resentful temperament from both conservatives and liberals, while each assures the American people that they represent the arm of righteousness.

     To maintain both freedom and morality is a difficult task; and as the pendulum of public approval swings back and forth between these two extremes both of them are effectively eroding the safeguards of everyone’s safety. The checks and balances that hold back both extremes are now being threatened, even to the extent that a number of our leaders now desire to remove the liberties of our Constitution in order to “fix” these problems. Essentially, this is, by definition, a civil war, and the Constitutional freedoms of the United States of America hang in the balance.

     We must realize that this situation is no different than when little children exercise disobedience to see the extent to which they can push the boundaries of selfish behavior before the hand of restraint comes upon them. A number of our leaders today are pushing the boundaries of their selfish behavior in a variety of ways but there is no hand of restraint outside of Constitutional law.

     If I may suggest, the only way to meet both arguments of conservative and liberal views that cannot be logically or ethically rejected is to first reveal the destructive nature of both of them, in light of the cost to human life throughout the history of western civilization. Untold numbers of men, women and children spilled their blood, that we might live in freedom today.

     The greatest gift next to life is our mutual peace and freewill. But our freedom of choice must work to the benefit of all, for to bless one class of people to the neglect of another is dishonorable. And yet, our society continuously blesses one class of people to the acceptable devaluation of another.

     As a result, our society has adopted a cruel indifference preventing them from seeing the great lesson of the 6th Commandment: "Thou shalt not kill," which teaches, 'to neglect to save life is to kill.' The value of life needs to be held as sacred to us all because to insure the security of others is to insure the same security for ourselves. And so, to remove the security of life for others is to remove that same security of life for ourselves. The threat of harm to innocent life is all around us; and in each case the threat is joined to the desecration of the Ten Commandment Law given by the Creator of the Universe to the human race over 3,400 years ago through the hands of the one man who could be entrusted with their care: “Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.” When these ten simple laws of life are examined it becomes obvious that if everyone kept the last six Commandments (the ones that deal with our personal safety with one another) there would be no personal harm done to any man, woman, or child. But our society actually encourages the continued violation of the Ten Commandments, all under a distorted definition of freedom, which is really no freedom at all for those victimized by its abuse. Just look at the lying and theft in politics and business, or the allowance of adultery through sodomy and pornography that is destroying family life, or the tens of millions of abortions since a corrupt court ruled in Roe vs. Wade.

     To be true to principle we must acknowledge that the liberal lifestyle imposing their sinful doctrines of atheistic pseudo-science in education, and foul language and raucous satire in the media is not alone in their disregard of what the Holy Bible calls “the law of liberty.” We see conservative Christians also violating the Ten Commandments. They are eager to point out the sins of liberal thinkers but are arrogantly blind to their own violations. The world’s most influential church, the Roman Catholic Church, has removed any obligation to obey two of the Ten Commandments: the 2nd and the 4th. The 2nd Commandment was removed entirely, while the 4th Commandment has been substituted with the world’s oldest tradition of pagan idolatry: “the venerable day of the sun.” Protestants are in agreement with the Catholic Church in their defiance to the 4th Commandment. In summation, their work is to evangelize the world into a universal overruling of the Ten Commandments; and this is declared as the will of GOD, when it is the antithesis of His will.

     Basically, the Conservative Christian declares to the Liberal Agnostic: “My sins are acceptable, but yours are not.” This selfish pick and choose obedience, where it is literally said, “this one I will follow, this one I will not: this one I will obey, but this one I will not” reveals their blindness to understand that to trespass the boundaries of any of the Ten Commandments threatens the removal of them all. Today’s Christianity has the Sacred Law of GOD divided against itself; and, as said before, anything divided against itself cannot stand the test of time. The ignorance of our religious leaders on this principle, whether willful or innocent, makes them unfit to govern themselves let alone be entrusted with any moral dominion in our society.

     And now, the U.S. Constitution is being divided against itself. The pendulum is swinging so far to the liberal left that the Conservative Right is fed up with the values of the left, so much so, that our Constitution is teetering. Whether from Bush or Obama our leaders are leading a charge to remove our Constitution. 9/11 is the springboard to America's eventual downfall. In overruling the document that has stayed the hand of religious tyranny in this country for over two hundred years, and provided the wisest guidelines of secular government ever given to men has opened the floodgates to wash away the very virtues of conscience. “We the people” need to hold back as long as we can this tide that threatens to drown us all.

     The first amendment reads: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” In writing the first amendment our forefathers understood the ethical logic of Jesus Christ when He spoke the following magnificent words to His disciples on the night of The Last Supper: “The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them. And they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so.” Luke 22:25,26. Our forefathers honored this explicit command of Christ by giving it “top billing” in the United States Constitution. All who claim to follow Jesus Christ are to regard religious tyranny as a sin. Fact: every freedom held as sacred by us as Americans has its origin in the Gospel of Jesus Christ: everything from freedom of speech to freedom of worship. And these freedoms can only be insured through man’s freewill choice to honor the Ten Commandments. Not eight (Catholicism). Not nine (Protestantism). But Ten (Adventism). Jesus is waiting for a people who “walk even as he walked.” While there are many from all walks of life who live up to the light of their understanding as led by the Holy Spirit, a level of knowledge in our sanctification is needed that will see the believer through coming tumultuous time as prophesied in Daniel 12:1 and Revelation 16.

     The relationship of GOD’S Ten Commandment Law to the United States Constitution is simple: On the one table of stone GOD Himself engraved the first four Commandments: these address your personal relationship with GOD, and no one has the right to impose on you how your relationship is carried out. This allows the wide variety of religions to carry out their chosen convictions. But on the second table of stone are engraved the last six Commandments. In these lie the perfect rule of government to order our daily lives. Our forefathers understood that honoring the last six would guaranty the mutual safety of every American citizen. This is seen in the virtuous spirit of the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence. The conscience bears witness.

     The obvious lesson of history reveals that the last six Commandments are the ones that when violated have caused every tragedy to befall the human race throughout time. And the study of religious history reveals that whenever the first four Commandments are violated this always leads to the violation of the last six. This has ever been the danger of uniting church with state. In the eyes of Jesus Christ this is an unholy union, for the union of church and state led to His own torture and crucifixion.

The bitter fruits we receive from our secular and religious leaders

     Today, America is descending slowly but surely into the class of fallen nations. Environmentally, economically and emotionally, America is sustained by a very fragile support structure. Our vulnerability to the ever-increasing assaults of nature, selfishness and industry guarantees that should an economic collapse become imminent a great change in our society’s manner of living will take place. Within this feeble framework a social hatred is brewing in America, and many professed Christians are among them. With the tide of power shifting decisively towards the “Religious Right” in their frustration with the abandonment of traditional morals, the eventual outcome should be obvious to all. Today’s flow of events ushering America to the brink of ruin are paving the way for the resurrection of a church/state union. And once our religious leaders take the throne of human government their decisions will swiftly lead this country to collapse, for they will legislate ancient sins of religious decadence to the throne of modern federal law. And this chosen course is nowhere sanctioned in the Holy Bible: it has no blessing from “the God of heaven." Please, never blame GOD for the atrocities of men—especially of men claiming His service!

     The absolutes of Bible doctrine prove logically, ethically, and Biblically that our religious leaders have turned their backs on the example set forth by the One they claim to serve, Jesus Christ. He set for us an example of conduct that shuns all association with tyranny. Christ forced the will of no man. And yet, all throughout the history of the Roman Catholic Church, popes and prelates denied the perfect doctrine of Christ by commanding murder, torture and theft as having the approval of GOD. And they commanded all civil leaders to carry out the most gruesome atrocities against anyone who would not acknowledge the supremacy of the pope in the affairs of men. (The Spanish Inquisition being one example.) As a result of their autocracy, over fifty million men, women and children perished at their hands. And the simple rudiment of Bible prophecy is clear: “The thing that hath been it is that which shall be.” In other words, the history of bloodshed at the hands of the Roman Church is the prophecy for its resurrection via Protestant America. We are to learn through diligent prayer and study how this “revival”of tyranny will be spearheaded by Protestant America by renouncing our Constitutional liberties for the sake of "the tradition of man:" the same leverage used against Jesus Christ. And just as it was, from the dark ages through the reformation, this fascism will hide behind the Good Name of Jesus Christ.

     The rise and fall of every nation through history illustrates this same lesson of how the time of a nation’s fall corresponds to its abandonment of human decency. Nazi Germany predicted a thousand year reign. It barely made it to ten. When “Christian America”takes up the same banner (and it will) its length of days will be similar.

     Logically and ethically the Holy Bible addresses each and every aspect of a nation’s survival while pointing the reader to the deepest aspirations of the human heart, assuring of their perfect fulfillment for those who live under Christ’s standard of decency. In light of this message He expresses in detail the easily provable fact of how today’s religious leaders have denied the Bible’s command calling for obedience to GOD’S Law: the only Law where we are safe in one another’s care. Jesus said it plain enough: “If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.” But the absolutes of Scripture have been overruled by vain traditions found in today’s Christianity that are eternally aggressive against the simple teachings of Jesus Christ. And all church denominations to this day enforce a protocol that is diametrically opposed to GOD’S Perfect Law: the only Law that promotes and secures the utopian government that every human being deeply aspires to see exist.

     But Christians are called to duplicate the social fabric of heaven on earth. And yet, as a result of the church abandoning the Law of the Gospel, this version of Christianity is giving the 'Judas kiss' to an entire world.

     We are given the opportunity to examine the list of deplorable contradictions between the views of powerful church leaders and the Bible they claim to follow. This masquerade of obedience to GOD will show the whole support structure of today’s Christianity to be founded on a system of religion that actually encourages defiance to the very Law of GOD that Jesus Christ died to honor & defend, securing the salvation of man. The church’s defiance of GOD’S Sacred Law dishonors the sacrifice of Christ. They view His obedience as a license for disobedience. This denies the prophecy of Christ addressing the heart of GOD'S call to repent from every sin: "He will magnify the law, and make it honourable."

     In light of this, two principles are upheld through Christ’s salvation:

1. You are never commanded to abandon your power of reason and judgment.
2. You are never commanded to violate your conscience concerning justice, mercy, or love.

As things wind down

     Today, the human race faces the challenge of its history. Stress is building between man's industry and the biosphere of earth. Man's erosion of the stability of life is guaranteed to reciprocate an equivalent retribution just as the most simple law of science reveals: "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." Or as society likes to put it: "What goes around comes around." Common sense can discern the many merciful warnings that are evident all around us showing the harsh and devastating repercussions from man's meddling with the laws of life. It is no different than how symptoms of disease in the body warn us to take care.

     Most of our leaders are blind to the simple reality: to tear down the structure of nature supporting intelligent life is to initiate the extinction of all intelligent life. And yet, the arrogance of man is so prevalent that he presumes the intellectual aptitude to defeat this Frankenstein threatening global annihilation of the human race. Due to man’s refusal to humble himself on this the severe retribution of nature against man’s assault on the "vital organs" of earth's ecosystems is merely a matter of time.

     To define this grand challenge of our generation a basic understanding of life and the laws of regeneration is imperative. The cause and effect of where we are today and where it is leading must be understood; for when nature’s backlash suddenly rises from obscurity the people of earth will (with trembling hearts) surrender their wills to those who claim they can turn things around and avert the approaching threat to human survival. And Bible prophecy warns that in the time of crisis our religious leaders will take the throne of human government (Rev.13:14). And as a result of the failure of their solution to end the crisis the greatest sorrow this world has ever known will be experienced by man.

     With the mass of evidence showing the continuing harm to the life, land, water and air it becomes rather absurd that man does not acknowledge his destructive and ultimately suicidal course. There can only be one reason for this blindness: "the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life." Our study should focus on the cause and effect of man's cruel indifference to the dignity of life and to know how to best minister to those trapped in the ignorance of future events, because how we deal with civilization's continuing survival reflects how we treat one another. As long as selfishness is allowed free reign in our relationships with one another we really are not safe with one another.

     In summation, there are two governments competing for the supremacy of this world. The one government says: I must secure your safety and happiness, and for those you love, no matter what it costs me, and only then are you safe with me. The other government says: I must think of me. If that means I have to sacrifice you and those you love for my selfish needs so be it. Now, which of these two is the predominant force ruling the government and our society? The latter of course. But the one we would rather see on the throne of life's government is the one that insures mutual peace, safety, and happiness for all: to make to most of life’s journey without the foolish interposing of supremacists.

     There is only One Who is fit and able to rule. And His Name is Jesus Christ. For in Him alone lies the promise for utopia and the fulfillment of every childhood dream for justice, mercy and love.
