THE CHURCH CONTENDS FOR POWER

     Atheism is so engrossed in their fight against all religion that they stand blind to the real power behind every great event of history. This power has always been and will always be religious in nature. Even atheism is proven to be a faith these days, with the irrefutable science supporting creation from a Divine Source: Namely GOD Himself!

     There is a competition today: a death match between two governments and two religions: capitalism & socialist communism, and mainstream Christianity & militant Islam. This contest threatens to cripple the United States, because two vehemently opposing forces cannot share the same land without brutal conflict. The fact that history repeatedly shows this reality and our leaders remain blind to its threat shows their inept judgment in all things. They are unfit to lead their own lives let alone ours. If either communist or Muslim extremists gain the upper hand, American society will be brought to its knees through some dastardly deed or a succession of them. But the Bible gives prophecy that the Roman Catholic church will be the overall victor (Rev.13:5-8). Let none make a mistake on this.

     Yet, today’s religious contest between Islam and nominal Christianity is merely a distraction, a steppingstone to a more fierce conflict that most are blind to consider. Modern society has never beheld “fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.” Rev.13:13. This “miracle” of Satan was used to burn to death both people and animals in the days of GOD’S faithful servant Job (Job 1:16); and Satan merely waits for Divine permission to demonstrate this same supernatural fire today (I Cor.10:11; Rev.7:1-3). It will draw from all men a frenzied panic for survival. Said the Savior of this time, “Fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven...And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.” Lu.21:11,25,26. This fire will be the springboard for the closing scenes of earth’s history, for it will be declared as a threat to the survival of the whole human race. Today’s science will define it, but it won’t be able to prevent it.

     Men will come forward at this fearful time, heralding to the world that they and they alone can turn the tide of man’s imminent destruction, with the public declaration, “We need to get back to GOD.” How much do we hear this today? While this is a true statement the Bible condemns the method whereby men carry it out. The Bible has decreed the most dangerous men on earth to be today’s Christian leaders, not the highly publicized “future” Antichrist, nor politician, atheist, or Muslim; for the Christian leaders, and they alone (declares Bible prophecy) will lead the people of earth to a degree of ruin the world has never known. The Bible calls this ruin “the bottomless pit.” Rev.20:1-3. (Full analysis will be forthcoming.)

     The most powerful religion and the most powerful nation consolidate into a church/state union whose legislation of the most ancient of sins into modern federal law will only escalate the swift fall of this land; for the blessing of GOD’S presence is being withdrawn from the Earth, and today’s Christianity will be the cause of His final departure just as Israel’s religious leaders drove GOD from Solomon’s temple at the time of Jerusalem’s first destruction (Eze.10). “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.” I Cor.10:11,12.

     Every calamity that befalls the United States gives evidence of GOD’S departure: the earthquakes, the hurricanes, the tornadoes, the droughts, floods and disease. The church and the world have consolidated their forces demanding of the GOD of Heaven, “Leave us alone! We’ll take it from here.” GOD never stays where He is not wanted, just as Jesus left the country of the Gergesenes when asked to leave (Matt.8:34-9:1). What the church and the world do not understand is that when GOD leaves, another comes to take His place, and his will is never for the benefit of man. On the rules of engagement between Christ and Satan both the church and the world are woefully ignorant. The clearest evidence of this: today’s Christianity will follow displays of the miraculous regardless of their continuous denial of the Word of GOD. Men today follow miracles regardless of their source and regardless of their destination. The Bible defines every deception and sin of Satan, but the men ruling the church will not hear. The church’s love affair with their own power and religion overrules the needed discernment that only the Bible can provide. And Satan affirms their apostasy against GOD’S Word through “great signs and wonders” that the Savior warned would be used (Matt.24:24).

THE DRIVE TO SURVIVE

     Society will eagerly accept this coming “Christian” authority, for it agrees with what Satan has said all along: “All that a man has will he give for his life.” Job 2:4. These words illustrate Satan’s final attempt to compel man to capitulate to his government whose laws of survival always demands both the sacrifice of innocent life and disobedience to GOD. The whole system of nature on earth is a product of Satan’s tyrannical manipulation through sin. Tyranny and death have been incorporated into every aspect of his authority on earth. His will ever be a government of force and destruction. And yet, multitudes of men turn to him for the gratification of their base passions, ever weakening their willpower for righteousness and dulling their sense of reason to accomplish it. And just as many turn to him for salvation in the world’s ruling religions (the most dangerously powerful being today’s Christianity). But the LORD Jesus Christ will come and deliver His faithful children from this life-destroying authority of the Devil, an authority held ever since Satan took dominion of this world away from the human race when he led our dearly loved father, Adam, to sin against GOD. Satan claims this world for himself. This is clearly evident, for the world is filled with men who imitate his example of self-exaltation to the destruction of all others. Just look at the common slander in politics. And this is public. So we may be sure that behind the scenes are some dastardly plans.

The Christian rulers deny Christ as LORD

     “All who call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.” Acts 2:21. Saved from what? Sin. Our religious leaders refuse to be saved. It is as simple as that! Although barely a flicker today the fires of persecution will soon be rekindled by men who believe that GOD has ordained them to be seated on the throne of human government. And once this apostasy takes hold it will swiftly usher our country to ruin. And these same apostates will lead the people to accuse those who obey the Ten Commandment Law as the ones responsible for the collapse of our nation. The faithful will become the targets of the coming tyranny—the scapegoats for the religious hypocrites who themselves are the leading cause for the removal of GOD’S presence and the ultimate collapse of the Earth’s ecosystems that all see the symptoms of today.

     History always repeats itself (Eccl.1:11), for in the days of pagan Rome the Christians were accused of being the cause of every natural disaster that befell the Roman kingdom. Every bolt of lightning, every earthquake, drought and storm, all the blame was cast upon the Christians (I Ki.18:17). As a result of this view they were mercilessly hunted and persecuted. The depraved emperor, Nero, even used Christians as human torches to light up the coliseum for the games of Rome, where Christians were fed to the lions, while others were dressed in animal skins only to be torn apart by wild dogs, where their dying agonies would receive cheers and standing ovations. This history is all but forgotten, but the same depraved character is readily seen in people today, even with men ruling in the church.

     Commandment-keeping Christians have always been and will ever be the special targets of Satan’s wrath, as it is written: “And the dragon [Satan] was wroth with the woman [the Church of Christ (Jer.6:2)], and went to make war [through his servants the human race] with the remnant of her seed [a small number within the church], which keep the commandments of God [the Standard of Christian living], and have the testimony of Jesus Christ [a correct view of Bible prophecy (Rev.19:10)].” Rev.12:17. This one verse sums up the sole objective of Satan in this world, and yet the churches are blind to the clearest warning that could ever be given concerning his work to destroy men’s lives. Why? Men refuse to face the personal struggles of their own sinful lives. "The fearful" cowards refuse to sanctify themselves before a Holy GOD Who Loves them and died for them.

     The longstanding war between the two branches of humanity traced throughout the Bible where the unrighteous always seek the oppression and death of the righteous (Isa.57:1), reaches its climax in the battle of Armageddon. Satan, fully embodied in the minds of his servants campaign to destroy Christ, fully embodied in the minds of His people. One uses force (Eze.34:4), the other uses reason (Isa.1:18). One uses tradition (Mk.7:13), the other uses Scripture (Isa.8:20; Matt.4:4).

     Armageddon’s place in history is the time shortly after the church leaders have taken the throne of human government, calling to the world to obey the law of the Vatican above the Law of GOD. It is at this time 'the Judas kiss' will be given to the whole of mankind by men who profess Christ’s service. And this kiss will enslave our world to take up arms against the LORD Jesus Christ Himself: “These [leaders of Christianity] shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.” “Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Rev.17:14; 22:14 (KJV only).

     GOD’S last appeal for men to repent will then have been rejected by the Christian leadership just as in the days of Judah’s downfall when the LORD appealed to the Jews through His prophet Jeremiah: “As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee. But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven [of which the Virgin Mary is today’s counterpart being heralded as “Queen of the Universe”].” Jer.44:16,17.

     Said the Savior of this time, “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matt.24:7-14.

     The Savior taught that these faithful ones “which are alive and remain” are called to hold on and wait for their LORD to come and deliver them before the appointed time of the death decree (Rev.13:15). And Christ will come! “Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's...Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you” “Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” II Chron.20:15-17; Isa.26:20,21.

     Prior to the seven last plagues, during the time of Satan’s grand finale tempting men to forever renounce their obedience to the Ten Commandments as GOD'S Standard of Christian living, GOD’S longsuffering for His wayward children must be demonstrated as it has all through history (Nu.14:11; Lu.9:41). Many will have to lay down their lives as unresisting martyrs before the lawless mobs just as the LORD Jesus unresistingly allowed His hands and feet to be nailed to a tree and left there to die. But the spilled blood of the righteous will sow the seeds of salvation into the lives of many who behold this coming atrocity heralded to the world as obedience to GOD’S will. It will prick the hearts of many who behold this illogical war waged against those who wouldn’t force the will of anyone and who are obedient to the GOD of Heaven. It will be proven to be illogical because the righteous live to serve just as their Master, Jesus Christ lives to serve: forcing the conscience of no man. The onlookers will witness the unresisting love of Christ demonstrated in the person of His saints, and many will at this time “abandon ship,” leaving the global Titanic that is sinking to "the bottomless pit" of eternal ruin. They will then board the LORD’S Lifeboat and take a stand with those who obey GOD. Marvelous will be the change of heart in the lives of those who desire to follow the similitude of Christ when they see it demonstrated in the purity of holiness, for they will see an obedience to Love they have never seen before and discover for the first time its perfect association with the Ten Commandment Law, the very Law that the churches today have forever renounced their obedience to.

     Today’s Christianity is hardened against the Law of heaven, demanding to be saved in sin instead of from sin. As a result of this growing apostasy, evangelizing the world into a universal government ruled by sin, all mankind is being drawn to the point where the Savior comes to put an end to the corrupt regime claiming to be His people. The prophecy will be fulfilled: “The indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter. Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.” “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” Isa.34:2-4; Rev.6:14-17. This is the reality of the 2nd Advent! There is no peaceful transition to the coming of the LORD.

     At the end of time, the time allotted to this cruel and selfish world, one thing will be understood by the whole human race, those “which are alive and remain” (I Th.4:17): the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is the greatest rescue of human history—the ultimate “cavalry to the rescue.” For this is the time when the world and the church will have united to exterminate once and for all “they that keep the commandments of GOD and the faith of Jesus.” Rev.14:12. Armageddon is simply the last battle in the long-standing civil war of Christianity between the Roman Catholic Church and the Commandment-keeping Church: between those who have exalted their authority above GOD’S Holy Law and those who have recognized its eternal significance in the plan of salvation. The Biblical meaning of Armageddon is translated, Mount of Slaughter. The little valley of Megiddo, (as today’s prophecy gurus point to being the place of the battle of Armageddon), has no part in this grand finale of global aggression against the saints.

     The whole prophetic scenario given by today’s prophecy gurus is leading the multitudes to expect something that will never come to pass, including the very salvation of their souls, “for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.” Jer.42:24. Of this class the LORD says, “Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it? I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies…Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.” Amos 5:18-23. All the rituals and ceremonies, pomp and circumstance, it is all for show, a theater filled with actors whose sole purpose is for self-glory not self-denial.

     As little children pretend many things in their daily playtime so do grownups pretend “a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.” II Tim.3:5.
Both the church and the world are blind to how Satan works to unite the human race against the Holy Law of GOD. But there is one group who do not acknowledge his supremacy. They are called “the saints.” This group, from all walks of life, and from every nation represents spiritual Israel who count it an honor and a joy to call Abraham their father (Rom.2:28,29, 9:6-8). For only those faithful to the Savior Jesus Christ are counted as the children of the promise. Jesus said it plain enough: “For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.” Matt.12:50.

The end-time prophecies of the Bible declare that the closing scenes of earth’s history will be rife with religious tyranny. The prophecy reads: “And he [Protestant America] causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark [the universal sign of Vatican supremacy: Sunday sacredness] in their right hand [by carrying out through their actions the acceptance of the law of the church in denial of the Law of GOD], or in their foreheads [signifying through the intellect their agreement with this law]: And that no man might buy or sell [by removing the liberty of providing life-support for family and friends], save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast [the world’s ruling church which is the Vatican], or the number of his name [666: the Great Antichrist and king over the church, who, every scholar of the Reformation declared to be the pope of Rome (Rev.13:18) whose title, Vicarius felii Dei adds up to 666 in each of the Biblical languages of Hebrew, Greek, and Latin].” Rev.13:16,17. In essence, the church members are being led to worship the one man who claims the divine authority to sin, not the GOD who promises deliverance from all sin.

“The thing that hath been it is that which shall be” Eccl.1:9

     There is coming a “revival” of persecution that men haven’t seen since the days of Vatican supremacy when fifty million men, women, and children spilled their life’s blood at the hands of hypocrites who spoke the Good Name of Jesus Christ through unholy lips: a priesthood who held celebrations and parades commemorating the slaughter of the innocent. Just on the horizon of our day there is coming a final display of despotism that will command the legislation of death to all who refuse subservience to the dictates of the church: “And he had power [to overrule the conscience of our government leaders] to...cause that as many as would not worship [a public display of devotion] the image of the beast [the sinful idol of the Vatican: “the venerable day of the sun”] should be killed.” Rev.13:15. The steps leading to this final display of religious tyranny are in motion today. Men like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell who are presently viewed with sarcasm and disdain will soon be handed the throne of human government.

How can the church become a fascist dictator?

     The legal justification for the coming tyranny is very simple: our religious leaders believe that should our nation ever be threatened to the point of ruin, if we then impose laws enforcing the worship of GOD our nation will be spared its destruction. This is proven through the government document, The Emergency Powers, which activates religious laws enforcing today’s Christian views on the American people regardless of anyone’s personal religion. In addition to trampling the First Amendment of the Constitution, this view of sinful men (in their vain attempt to secure America’s survival) is in full rebellion against the Ten Commandments, for it exalts the law of the pope of Rome above the Law of Christ, which has always been the traditional sin of the Vatican since the days of her ascendancy to civil rule (II Th.2:1-12; Acts 5:29). Fact: The Vatican would never have risen to power had they remained steadfast in the honor of GOD’S Holy Law. The world would never have allowed their rulership. But their compromise with sin led to the fiasco of 1700 years of misleading people, ushering men by the tens of millions to stand condemned before Jesus Christ, simply because they evangelize men into a religion promoting sin; and all sin is condemned by Jesus Christ (Matt.5:19,19:17; Jn.8:21).

     But there are many in Catholicism and Protestantism “which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him” (I Ki.19:18): whose ignorant sins are covered by the righteousness of Christ (Nu.15:28). The LORD knows His own and will gather them from all ages and walks of life just as the Savior said: “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” “And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.” Therefore the LORD says to all who are honest in heart, “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.” Jn.10:16; Matt.8:11; Rev.18:4,5.

     The world’s oldest pagan tradition, Sunday sacredness, which was founded on the ancient belief that Nimrod ascended to the sun after he died has been pawned off as Christ’s command through the authority of the Vatican, not the Word of GOD. Not one verse of the Bible substantiates what the Catholic and Protestant churches declare to be blessed of GOD. This open sin denies Christ’s Holy Sabbath day: sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, the eternal memorial of GOD’S rest in His completed work of Creation; and now Salvation through Christ. And yet, Sunday sacredness, the most ancient of heathen sins is about to be legislated into modern federal law. This law represents man’s permanent decision to never repent. Just as ancient Israel crossed the point of no return so today’s Christian church has settled in their minds to never change, for the call to repentance would cause such a sting of humiliation that the unconverted heart can never bear it (Rom.8:7). Their reputation has become more important than loving obedience to the GOD Who Loves them and died for them. But Christ “made himself of no reputation” Phil.2:7. So, in essence, the church leaders only desire the power of Christ’s authority not the character of His authority. But the true followers of Jesus desire His character. The character of Jesus is worth infinitely more than any reputation.

     From nation to nation this apostasy will sweep the globe leaving ruin in its wake; and it is this global ruin that will usher the 2nd Advent of Christ, who will then deliver those who would not go along with this final display of tyrannical apostasy hiding behind the Good Name of Jehovah. All who take their stand on the LORD’S side will declare the words of Joseph, “how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Gen.39:9. The 4th Commandment is among the Ten Commandments. It is not separate. It was not made for the Jews. Said Christ, “The Sabbath was made for man.” Mk.2:27. This means all men.

     The general direction of our society has always been and will ever be the path to self-destruction. Sinful men never work to life’s regeneration, only its degradation, just as the Bible gave prophecy: “The land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness.” Joel 2:3. As man marches forward in time he always leaves destruction in his wake, and Bible prophecy says this will never change until Christ comes to deliver His faithful ones from a perishing world, taking them away from this world’s fundamentally immoral authority.

"Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels" "for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come." Mk.8:38; Matt.10:23.
